About The Ouidad Curl Shaper ™ Range.
Last Summer I was sent the new Ouidad Curl Shaper™️ range for wavy hair and have now fully finished all of the products. So it seemed to be a good time to write about them. Firstly I love that Ouidad products come in large sizes as I feel I am getting through too many plastic bottles when it comes to haircare products. I can easily decanter them if I am needing to travel. As you can see from the above picture, the products are great at defining my wavy curls (a diffuser was also used to dry my hair for this image) and leave it feeling soft and well conditioned. There are six Ouidad Curl Shaper products in the line: shampoo, conditioner, plumping an defining cream, reactivating mist, volumizing jelly and revitalising milk. Curl Shaper Good As New Moisture Restoring Shampoo - This oil-based shampoo is gentle enough for daily use and won’t leave strands greasy or weighed down. It mimics your hairs’ natural oils to cleanse, hydrate, and refresh loose curls, restoring essential moisture as you wash. I use a small amount on my roots/scalp and let it rinse through the rest of my hair. Leaves hair feeling clean, soft and manageable.
Ouidad Curl Shaper Double Duty Weightless Cleansing Conditioner - This product can be used in place of a shampoo for a gentle moisturizing cleanse, or as a conditioner to boost hydration and manageability. It removes dirt, oil, and buildup while also nourishing to enhance definition and your natural curl pattern. I prefer to use on the mid to ends of my hair and leave on for about 5 mins before rinsing out.
Ouidad Curl Shaper Take Shape Plumping + Defining Cream - For use when loose curls lose their shape, this lightweight cream builds body and definition. It gives you soft, natural-looking movement every time, only a small amount is needed. Scrunch into ends of hair.
Ouidad Curl Shaper Bounce Back Reactivating Mist -Bring your curls back to life with this spray that combines the benefits of a curl refresher and a leave-in conditioner. It gives an energizing boost of moisture to restore curl definition back to its day-one glory.I spray a small amount in the palm of my hand and rake through my damp curls.
Ouidad Curl Shaper Out of Thin H(air) Volumizing Jelly - This light-as-air jelly activates loose curls for smooth definition, volume, and hold without weighing them down. Curls are left soft and defined, without any crunch. I apply a moderate amount and scrunch through my wet hair after conditioning. Once dry I then scrunch to break any cast remaining.
Ouidad Curl Shaper Memory Maker 3-in-One Revitalising Milk - I use it as a leave-in conditioner or treatment to revitalize and restore my dry, stretched-out curls. Only a small amount is needed otherwise it made weigh down your wavy curls.
There are many other Ouidad curly hair products if your curls are a different type to mine! Don’t forget you don’t need to put product on your curls every time you wash your hair. Sometimes just leave your hair to dry naturally!
