How To Make Your Curly Hair Journey A Bit Easier.
It took me a while to figure out everything I needed to look after my wavy/curly 2A/B hair. So I thought this blog post might be useful for those of you just getting started in order to save time. If there are things not on the list it means I haven’t tried it yet or it didn’t work for my hair type. Some of these items I have already talked about in previous posts but seemed to make sense to consolidate them here! Hope it is somewhat useful.
Hair Brush.
Denman Power Paddle Hair Brush - Denman have a range of hair brushes for different hair types but this one works best for my long hair.
Curl Keeper Flexi Brush - Another great option for curly/wavy hair. Curl Keeper also sell other products and accessories.
2. Misting Spray Bottle.
Refillable continuous misting spray bottle. For refreshing curls prior to apply styling products and for adding moisture to dry hair. There are many different options to buy but the one pictures seems to be the most popular one with curlys.
3. Hair Towels.

Deva Curl Microfibre Hair Towel - another great option to prevent frizz and dehydrated hair.
4. Shower Cap.

5. Hair Dryer.
Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer - you can see my full list of hair dryers and diffusers for different hair types HERE.
Panasonic Nano Hair Dryer - a great cheaper option if the Dyson is a bit pricey.
6. Diffuser.
Hairizone Universal hair Diffuser - fits on to most hair dryers. Great for long hair.
Drybar The Bouncer Diffuser - better for shorter or thinner hair types.
7. Silk/Satin Head Wraps.
Silk Head Wrap - Turban style useful for sleeping in. Reduces friction and static leading to less knots and frizz.
Satin Head Wrap - Great for keeping your hair out of your face during the day as needed.
8. Silk/Satin Pillow Cases.
Kitsch 100% satin pillowcase with zip - Reduces friction at night and keeps hair from knotting and excess frizz.

9. Heat Cap - Can be plugged in or microwavable. great to use when deep conditioning.
10. Hair Clips - For when applying products to lift roots or for keeping hair out of the face.
